WHAT?
CoronaCircles is a free platform that enables a mindful and deep exchange in a self-organised group of 5 people.
The powerful tradition of circle work is combined with the current possibilities of video conferencing.
HOW?
During one hour there is time for sharing & listening:
- The host welcomes everyone
- A moment of silence
- First round: Who and where am I?
- Second round: How am I doing? What touches or inspires me? What do I yearn for for the future?
- Third round: What do I take with me from this CoronaCircle?
HELPFUL
- Rejoicing in meeting people
- Listening benevolently and impartially
- Courage to show myself with my own feelings, worries and experiences
- Making sure that I speak about myself when I talk
- Mindful handling of what is shared
- Silence is also a form of sharing

"I am grateful that I had the opportunity to experience how powerful it can be to speak in a circle and really be heard. In these difficult times I want to make this experience available to as many people as possible."
Gerriet Schwen, Co-Initiator CoronaCircles
“Knowing how precious and empowering it is to be able to share and be listened to in circles, I felt motivated to help set up this platform. It offers an opportunity to learn from one another, develop new skills, and strengthen resilience in times of social distancing.”
Griet Hellinckx, Circles of Wisdom, Co-Initator CoronaCircles
"What characterizes us as human beings are our different experiences and perspectives. The Corona time has, like a magnifying glass, brought this phenomenon to our attention once again. Through the conversation culture in the circle, we can create a space that can allow all the differences without judging them."
Michael Hoenninger, Co-Initiator CoronaCircles Team
There is a simple power to speaking in a circle. It enables equality, trust and collective intelligence. In circles we can change anything, because everything goes around in circles, or at least that is how I think it should be. The time has come that we can use this ancient social technology to get the whole world together, circle by … Arne Bollinger, Sociocracy Coach, CoronaCircles Developer

"The possibility to really share your thoughts, your stories, your questions and your new ideas is a deeply human need. It is an opportunity to connect in a deep and real way, to get a sense of what is the best in being human - together. I wish more people make this a regular practice in their lives."
Ria Baeck, Steward Art of Hosting, Collective Presencing
“This special time in which we live brings severe limitations and at the same time it creates new possibilities as to our interaction with each other. By forming virtual circles to exchange, encourage and inspire one other, a new, communal strength is created. Let us use this opportunity to create something new together from the space of our hearts!”
Annette Kaiser, Initiator Co-Creating Europe
“The gift of undivided attention with open thinking and an open heart creates spaces in which people can rediscover themselves and others and come to action. The more we practice this, the better.”
Angela Baldini, Presencing Institute Europe
"The Corona crisis is not a time for social distancing. It is a time of physical distancing and social connecting. The CoronaCircles will be one of the places where this new culture of encounter was born."
Thomas Steininger, emergent dialogues, evolve
"Meeting in circle to gather collective wisdom helped our ancestors survive. Now we have the chance to circle virtually (I think the ancestors would be amazed!), share what we need to, and be received with deep listening. Such a privilege!"
